Who gets in
American Express explicitly includes Amsterdam in its Centurion Lounge access policy. Eligible card families include:

For Platinum and Delta Reserve cardholders, entry is permitted within three hours of a same-day departing flight, or within five hours of a same-day connection. A same-day round trip does not count as a connection, and access on arrival is unavailable without an eligible onward flight. Present the valid card and a confirmed boarding pass with a seat or boarding-zone assignment in the same name; Amex may request government-issued identification. The Delta Reserve and Reserve Business additionally require a same-day Delta-marketed or Delta-operated flight booked on a U.S.-issued American Express card. Entry remains subject to available space. At Amsterdam, U.S. Consumer Platinum and U.S. Business Platinum cardholders normally pay €45 per guest aged 18 or over and €25 for children aged 2–17. Children under two enter free with proof of age or a lap-infant boarding pass. After $75,000 in eligible card purchases in a calendar year, these Platinum cardholders qualify for up to two complimentary guests per visit for the remainder of that year, the following year and through January 31 of the next year. U.S. Corporate Platinum includes up to two guests; Centurion includes immediate family or up to two guests under its separate policy. What is inside
The centerpiece is the Blue Roast coffee bar, where a barista pours locally sourced coffee. That is a genuine departure from the self-serve urns most airport lounges settle for, and it is the detail most likely to decide whether you walk here or to a Priority Pass alternative.
Beyond the coffee, there is a full bar serving beer and cocktails, and a buffet built around seasonal Dutch and regional European cooking rather than the usual international hedge. Seating is deliberately mixed: armchairs, cafe tables, high-tops, booths, quiet work corners and larger group tables, with power and USB access throughout. There are private restrooms and a phone booth.
There are no showers. If you are connecting off a long-haul redeye and counting on cleaning up before your onward flight, plan for that somewhere else in the terminal.
The room leans on blue, green and earth tones drawn from the city's canals and building facades, with artwork from local makers and tall windows that keep daylight in the space.
