Emirates Skywards is running a 25% discount on partner award flights, and the window is short. You have until August 9, 2026 to book, but you can fly as late as July 22, 2027. With the discount applied, some partner awards start at just 2,250 Skywards miles one-way.
In this article, we list the eligible partners, explain where the cheapest awards sit, and flag the restrictions that catch people out. If you are looking for a card that builds a transferable balance, start with our roundup of the best credit cards.
The offer takes 25% off the miles needed for economy partner awards. No registration is required, and every Skywards member can use it. Instead of a code, the discount appears automatically at checkout once you search the right way.
Sixteen airlines take part, and the list is broader than most Skywards promotions. It spans North America, Europe, Asia, South America, and Africa, which gives the offer real reach.
Three carriers sit outside the promotion: FlyDubai, EasyJet, and Jet2. Emirates flights themselves are also excluded, so this is strictly a partner offer.
The 2,250-mile figure comes from airlines that recently cut their Skywards award rates, notably Qantas, Korean Air, and Bangkok Airways. On short regional routes with those carriers, the discount pushes the price into genuinely cheap territory.
United sits at the other end. Because United rates were not part of the recent chart changes, the cheapest United award with the discount applied starts at 6,000 miles. That is still a saving, but it is not the headline number.
Skywards is a transfer partner of several U.S. bank programs, including American Express Membership Rewards. Consequently, you do not need to fly Emirates to take advantage of an offer like this one. A single transfer can cover a short partner award.
Move points only once you have found the award space and confirmed the discounted price, because transfers are one way. For a comparison of which cards feed which programs, see our guide to the best travel credit cards.
A 25% discount across sixteen partners is a solid offer, particularly because the travel window runs all the way to July 22, 2027. That combination lets you lock in cheap economy awards now for trips you have barely started planning.
The catch is the booking deadline of August 9, 2026, which leaves very little time. Search first, confirm the total including taxes, and only then move any points. For offers like this one as they appear, subscribe to our newsletter.
