In terms of eligibility requirements for this card, standard American Express application restrictions apply (e.g., five-card limit, excluding certain co-branded cards). Now while these perks are valuable, it’s worth noting that there are other, very competitive, Marriott Bonvoy credit card options, such as the Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express card and the Marriott Bonvoy Business® American Express card, which both offer Free Night Awards without spending requirements.
The Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant® American Express card also comes with additional benefits, including Platinum Elite status; however, this card does also come with a higher annual fee.
The Marriott Bonvoy Bevy® American Express® Card‘s current welcome offer of 85,000 Bonvoy points is notably lower than previous offers, though it still represents decent value if you’re able to meet the spending requirements.
Given American Express’ card restrictions, and the fact that we’ve previously seen welcome offers for this card at 125,000 Bonvoy points, you may want to wait for a more lucrative opportunity.
