Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore Joins Marriott Bonvoy on December 1, 2026

The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore joins Marriott Bonvoy on December 1, 2026. From that date, members can earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points on eligible stays at the 608-room Marina Bay hotel, and those nights count toward elite status.
It is the last regular Ritz-Carlton hotel that has stayed outside the program. Until November 30, 2026, the hotel can be booked on Marriott's website, yet a stay there earns no points, no elite night credit and no elite recognition.
The hotel has confirmed the date in writing to guests who asked. Once it participates, a stay works like any other Ritz-Carlton stay in the Marriott Bonvoy program: points on eligible rates, qualifying nights, and the elite benefits that the brand honors.
Two things are still missing. Award pricing has not been loaded, so the number of points per night is unknown. The hotel says details on points earning, redemptions and reservation procedures for Bonvoy bookings will come through official Marriott and hotel channels.
| Marriott Bonvoy feature | Until November 30, 2026 | From December 1, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Earn points on paid stays | No | Yes, on eligible rates |
| Redeem points for award nights | No | Yes, once award pricing is loaded |
| Elite qualifying nights | No | Yes |
| Elite room upgrades and late checkout | No | Yes, under Ritz-Carlton brand rules |
| Complimentary breakfast for elites | No | No |
| Club Lounge access through elite status | No | No |
The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore opened in 1996, when Ritz-Carlton had no points-based loyalty program. When Ritz-Carlton Rewards started awarding points in 2010, each hotel could choose whether to take part. Singapore and Osaka opted out. Osaka later joined; Singapore kept its exemption, and that arrangement carried over when Marriott Rewards and Starwood Preferred Guest merged into Marriott Bonvoy.
The hotel has not given a reason for the change. For Bonvoy members, the reason matters less than the result: one more high-end option in Singapore where points now work.
Ritz-Carlton is one of the brands where Marriott Bonvoy elite status carries fewer perks. Here is what applies from December 1, 2026:
The Club Lounge sits at the top of the building and serves five food presentations a day. To get in, you book a room or suite with Club access.
Award nights should become bookable once Marriott loads the hotel's pricing. Standard Bonvoy award rules then apply, including the fifth night free on a five-night award stay.
Free Night Awards from a Marriott Bonvoy credit card will work here too, as long as the nightly price fits within the certificate's value plus the top-off points Marriott allows. Wait for the price before you plan around a certificate: Marriott Bonvoy raised award prices without notice in July 2026, and dynamic pricing at a 600-plus-room luxury hotel in Marina Bay can swing widely between dates.
If you have a paid stay planned for after December 1, 2026, add your Bonvoy number to the reservation now and confirm with the hotel that the stay will earn points. If your stay starts before that date, it will not earn, even if you book it on Marriott's website.
For an award stay, there is nothing to book yet. Check the hotel's Marriott page after December 1 and compare the points price with the cash rate before you redeem.
From December 1, 2026, the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore earns and redeems Marriott Bonvoy points and counts toward elite status. Book paid stays dated December 1 or later with your member number attached, and wait for award pricing before you commit points or a Free Night Award. Do not count on breakfast or Club access from your status.
