Welcome offer

  • Bonus: a $250 statement credit, awarded as 25,000 bonus points.
  • Required spending: $1,500 in eligible net purchases within 90 days of account opening.
  • Timing: TD states that the bonus appears within 6 to 8 weeks after you meet the eligibility requirements. Your account must be open and in good standing.
  • Eligibility: the offer applies to new accounts opened in response to this specific offer. It is not transferable. TD excludes accounts opened under another offer and applicants who previously received a one-time bonus on this account or another account with TD.
  • Excluded bonus purchases: cash equivalents, money orders, gift cards, and gift-card reloads do not qualify.

Cash back

Earn 2 points per dollar of eligible purchases, after returns, credits, and adjustments. Cash back is available from 2,500 points, with each point worth $0.01.

You can request a statement credit or a deposit into a U.S. TD Bank checking or savings account. You must still make at least your minimum monthly payment.

Balance transfers, cash advances, fees, interest, and other transactions excluded by the program rules do not earn points. Points do not expire while your account remains open and in good standing. Different forfeiture rules apply after closure or default.

Rates and fees

There is no annual fee. The published offer does not advertise an introductory 0% APR.

For purchases and balance transfers, TD lists these variable APRs, depending on creditworthiness:

  • 17.49%
  • 20.49%
  • 22.49%
  • 25.49%
  • 27.49%

These APRs vary with the Prime Rate. Other published rates and charges are:

  • Cash-advance APR: 28.74%, variable with the Prime Rate.
  • Balance-transfer fee: $5 or 5% of each transfer, whichever is greater.
  • Cash-advance fee: $10 or 5% of each advance, whichever is greater.
  • Foreign transaction fee: 3% of each transaction in U.S. dollars.
  • Minimum interest charge: $1 if interest is charged.
  • Late-payment fee: up to $40.
  • Returned-payment fee: $39.

Interest on balance transfers and cash advances starts on the transaction date. To avoid purchase interest, pay the entire balance by the due date, which is at least 25 days after the billing cycle closes.

Eligibility and liability

Approval depends on TD’s income, residency, age, credit, and other requirements. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. No specific credit-score threshold is promised here.

The applicant is personally liable for all balances on the account and all cards issued under the application. TD states that this account is reported to consumer credit reporting agencies, not business credit reporting agencies.

Insurance and assistance

The Visa Guide to Business Benefits contains the conditions, exclusions, and claim deadlines. Cell phone coverage requires payment of the qualifying wireless bill before the incident month. The guide excludes phones that are lost or mysteriously disappear.

Roadside Dispatch is a pay-per-use service. Travel and emergency assistance coordinates services; you are responsible for the cost of services arranged.

Pros

  • First Year Annual Fee Rebate
  • Welcome bonus of 25,000 points
  • 3x at restaurants

Cons

  • Fewer premium perks

The TD First Class Visa Signature focuses on travel and dining, earning 3 miles per dollar in those categories and 1 mile on other eligible purchases. Its $89 annual fee is waived in the first year, making the initial cost different from the ongoing cost.

The card can fit spending concentrated in those categories if you use TD’s redemption options. The advertised 0% introductory rate applies to eligible balance transfers, rather than a general interest-free purchase period. Transfer fees and repayment terms should therefore be assessed separately from the rewards.

Our Methodology

Cards closed to new applicants and code-only offers whose terms cannot be verified are excluded. Only cards matching a category can be curated or sponsored on its page. A configured editorial selection replaces the calculated list. Otherwise, category cards are ordered by monthly selection, then first-year welcome-bonus cash value, then lower annual fees. Unknown values follow known values. Sponsored, exclusive, and featured placements then move first, in that order, with labels identifying them. Position is therefore not a universal quality score. The hub shows the first 5 cards from each list. Interest, eligibility, and your own use can change which card suits you.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1Which card should I choose from this table?

Start with your spending and eligibility. Read each card’s reason and trade-off, then compare its fees and terms. First position does not guarantee the best fit for your situation.

2How is the order determined?

3Are business cards suitable for everyone?

No. They require eligible business activity and may carry a personal guarantee. A large welcome offer does not make a business card suitable for personal spending.

4Where should I verify offers and benefits?

The table and card details read the site’s catalogue. Also check current issuer terms before applying: welcome offers, required spending, and lounge-access rules can change.

5Does a no-fee card guarantee savings?

No. Interest and other charges can outweigh rewards. Compare the full cost and, when possible, pay your statement balance in full.
