Pros

  • Welcome bonus of 75,000 miles
  • 2x on groceries
  • 2x at restaurants

Cons

  • Fewer premium perks

The Capital One Venture Rewards card combines a base rate of 2 miles per dollar with a $95 annual fee. Hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel earn 5 miles per dollar.

The current offer includes 75,000 miles after $4,000 in purchases in the first three months and a one-time $300 credit for hotels and vacation rentals through Capital One Travel. The credit expires one year after account opening, so its value depends on bookings you expect to make through the portal. It is not a recurring annual benefit.

This card can suit travelers who want a straightforward earning rate and use the miles’ redemption or transfer options. No foreign transaction fees help abroad, but the variable purchase APR of 19.74% to 28.74% makes paying in full important. A Venture or Venture X new-cardmember bonus received within the past 48 months makes you ineligible for the new bonus.

Pros

  • Welcome bonus of 75,000 miles
  • 2x on groceries
  • 2x at restaurants

Cons

  • High annual fee ($395)

Capital One Venture X Rewards fits a frequent traveler who will use Capital One Travel and airport lounges. It charges a $395 annual fee and offers 75,000 bonus miles after $4,000 in purchases in the first 3 months.

The card earns 2 miles per dollar on other purchases, 10 on eligible hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel, and 5 on eligible flights and vacation rentals booked through that service. The $300 annual Capital One Travel credit is restricted to that booking service and expires at the next account anniversary. You also receive 10,000 bonus miles starting with the first anniversary.

Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application fees can qualify for a statement credit of up to $120 per account every four years when paid with the card.

Pros

  • Welcome bonus of 300,000 miles
  • 2x on groceries
  • 2x at restaurants

Cons

  • High annual fee ($395)

The Capital One Venture X Business card is aimed at businesses that use Capital One’s travel services and can justify a $395 annual fee. It earns 2 miles per dollar on purchases, plus 10 miles on hotels and rental cars and 5 miles on flights and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Business Travel.

The limited-time offer provides up to 300,000 miles and a $1,000 travel credit. In the first four months, $40,000 in purchases earns 150,000 miles; $120,000 in cumulative purchases earns another 150,000 miles and the credit. The second threshold is $120,000 in total, rather than an additional $120,000. Assess it against business spending already planned.

The separate $300 annual credit, 10,000 anniversary miles and lounge access can contribute value when the business uses them. Lounge access and enrollment conditions still apply. The card is designed to be paid in full, with an option to carry part of the balance with interest; it should not be treated as interest-free financing.

These are substantial spending requirements. The $150 annual fee is charged and is refunded only after the issuer’s $150,000 net-purchase condition is met. Pros

  • Welcome bonus of 100,000 miles

Cons

  • Fewer premium perks

The Capital One Venture Business card earns 2 miles per dollar on business purchases for a $95 annual fee. Hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Business Travel earn 5 miles per dollar.

The current 100,000-mile offer requires $10,000 in purchases in the first three months. That threshold is best assessed against spending the business already plans to make. Compared with the no-annual-fee VentureOne Business, the higher base earning rate needs to generate enough value to justify the annual cost.

There are no foreign transaction fees. The variable purchase APR of 24.74% can still outweigh the rewards if the business carries an interest-bearing balance. Travel booked directly also does not receive the portal’s 5-mile rate.

Pros

  • No annual fee
  • Welcome bonus of 50,000 miles

Cons

  • Fewer premium perks

The Capital One VentureOne Business card suits businesses that want to earn miles without an annual fee. It earns 1.5 miles per dollar on purchases and 5 miles on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Business Travel.

The current offer provides 50,000 miles after $4,500 in purchases in the first three months. Its base earning rate is lower than the 2 miles offered by Venture Business, but that card has a $95 annual fee. The better fit depends on the business’s spending and how it uses its miles.

No foreign transaction fees can help with purchases abroad. The variable purchase APR of 16.99% to 22.99%, based on creditworthiness, still makes paying in full important. Hotels and rental cars booked directly do not qualify for the portal’s 5-mile rate.

The Capital One Spark Cash Select earns a flat 1.5% on business purchases with no annual fee. That simplicity can suit businesses that do not want to manage bonus categories. Free employee cards and customizable spending limits can also help with expense tracking.

The 5% rate applies to hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Business Travel; direct bookings do not receive that rate. The introductory 0% purchase period lasts nine months before a variable rate applies. Financing should therefore be assessed separately from cash-back earnings and spending already planned.

Pros

Cons

  • Fewer premium perks

The Capital One VentureOne Rewards card earns miles without an annual fee. Its base rate of 1.25 miles per dollar is lower than Venture Rewards, which charges $95 per year. Hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel earn 5 miles per dollar.

The current 20,000-mile bonus requires $500 in purchases in the first three months. The offer also includes a 0% introductory APR for 15 months on purchases and balance transfers, followed by a variable APR of 18.74% to 28.74%. Balance transfer fees apply.

This version can suit occasional travelers who prefer to avoid an annual cost. It differs from VentureOne for Good Credit, which offers neither a new-cardmember bonus nor a 0% introductory APR. Receiving a VentureOne, Venture or Venture X new-cardmember bonus within the past 48 months makes you ineligible for the new bonus.

The Capital One Savor Cash Rewards can suit spending concentrated in eligible grocery stores, dining, entertainment, and eligible streaming services. Those categories earn 3% cash back, versus 1% on other purchases, with no annual fee.

The Savor reviewed here is the version offering a $200 bonus after $500 in purchases within the first three months. It is distinct from the fair-credit SavorOne with a $39 annual fee. Superstores such as Walmart and Target do not qualify for the grocery bonus rate. The 5% rate on eligible travel requires booking through Capital One Travel.

Our Methodology

Cards closed to new applicants and code-only offers whose terms cannot be verified are excluded. Only cards matching a category can be curated or sponsored on its page. A configured editorial selection replaces the calculated list. Otherwise, category cards are ordered by monthly selection, then first-year welcome-bonus cash value, then lower annual fees. Unknown values follow known values. Sponsored, exclusive, and featured placements then move first, in that order, with labels identifying them. Position is therefore not a universal quality score. The hub shows the first 5 cards from each list. Interest, eligibility, and your own use can change which card suits you.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1Which card should I choose from this table?

Start with your spending and eligibility. Read each card’s reason and trade-off, then compare its fees and terms. First position does not guarantee the best fit for your situation.

2How is the order determined?

3Are business cards suitable for everyone?

No. They require eligible business activity and may carry a personal guarantee. A large welcome offer does not make a business card suitable for personal spending.

4Where should I verify offers and benefits?

The table and card details read the site’s catalogue. Also check current issuer terms before applying: welcome offers, required spending, and lounge-access rules can change.

5Does a no-fee card guarantee savings?

No. Interest and other charges can outweigh rewards. Compare the full cost and, when possible, pay your statement balance in full.
