Pros

  • Welcome bonus of 300,000 miles
  • 2x on groceries
  • 2x at restaurants

Cons

  • High annual fee ($395)

The Capital One Venture X Business card is aimed at businesses that use Capital One’s travel services and can justify a $395 annual fee. It earns 2 miles per dollar on purchases, plus 10 miles on hotels and rental cars and 5 miles on flights and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Business Travel.

The limited-time offer provides up to 300,000 miles and a $1,000 travel credit. In the first four months, $40,000 in purchases earns 150,000 miles; $120,000 in cumulative purchases earns another 150,000 miles and the credit. The second threshold is $120,000 in total, rather than an additional $120,000. Assess it against business spending already planned.

The separate $300 annual credit, 10,000 anniversary miles and lounge access can contribute value when the business uses them. Lounge access and enrollment conditions still apply. The card is designed to be paid in full, with an option to carry part of the balance with interest; it should not be treated as interest-free financing.

  • The American Express Global Lounge Collection provides access subject to each network’s enrollment, admission, visit and guest conditions. Check the current Amex lounge finder for participating locations and access rules.

  • Earn 2X on eligible U.S. construction-material/hardware suppliers, electronics retailers/software/cloud providers and shipping providers, or on each eligible purchase of $5,000 or more, up to $2 million combined per calendar year, then 1X. Only the highest eligible rate applies. From February 17, 2027, shipping eligibility is limited to the providers listed in Amex terms. American Express ZO — Tishman Speyer

ZO access is for the eligible U.S. Basic Business Platinum holder, subject to participating U.S. locations and availability; international locations are excluded. The personal Platinum Card is not included in this benefit’s eligible-card list.

Amex benefit enrollment is not required. Entry requires the eligible card, matching photo ID and a reservation QR code. A ZO Global Access account and reservation are required for Studio and guest passes. ZO staff can assist with a walk-in reservation subject to availability. Clubhouse/Lounge access is complimentary without a fixed visit allotment; Studio is limited to 4 day-pass reservations per month, one location per use.

Up to 4 guest day passes per business week, Monday–Friday: guests must be registered, accompanied by the eligible holder and present matching photo ID and QR code. Unused passes expire at local closing time on Friday and do not carry forward.

The $500 statement-credit maximum is shared by the eligible account per calendar year. Eligible purchases are U.S. ZO/Studio event-space bookings made directly through yourstudio.com or the ZO app, and Dining Club membership purchased directly with its membership representative. Employee-card purchases can qualify for that shared account limit but do not create another credit or access entitlement. Allow up to 8 weeks for credits; refunds, cancellations, merchant processing and account standing can affect eligibility. This is not a $500 credit for everyday restaurant or coworking purchases.

Unlock Premium Business Travel Benefits with The Business Platinum Card® from American Express

Elevated Welcome Offer: Earn up to 300,000 Membership Rewards® points after you spend $20,000 in eligible purchases within the first 3 months of Card Membership. Welcome offers vary by applicant and you may not be eligible for an offer. The advertised 300,000 points is a maximum, not a guaranteed bonus. Confirm your own offer before accepting the card.

The Business Platinum Card® from American Express combines travel access and conditional statement credits. Compare the benefits you can actually use with the $895 annual fee. Enrollment, eligible merchants, spending thresholds and monthly, quarterly or semiannual limits affect their value:

  • Airport lounge access through the American Express Global Lounge Collection, subject to each network’s enrollment, admission, guest and visit rules. Consult the current Amex lounge finder before travel.
  • Up to $600 in statement credits annually on eligible prepaid Fine Hotels + Resorts, The Hotel Collection or Airbnb Luxe bookings through Amex Travel: up to $300 per half-year, without carryover. The Hotel Collection and Airbnb Luxe require 2 nights; Fine Hotels + Resorts also requires 2 nights from January 1, 2027.
  • Up to $200 Airline Fee Credit with your selected qualifying airline
  • Up to $200 back annually on eligible Hilton purchases, up to $50 per quarter. Hilton For Business and Hilton Honors membership plus Amex enrollment are required.
  • Up to $219 back annually on CLEAR® Plus Membership
  • Up to $1,150 in Dell Technologies credits ($150 statement credit plus an additional $1,000 after spending $5,000+)
  • $250 Adobe credit after spending $600+ per calendar year
  • Up to $360 back annually for purchases with Indeed
  • Up to $120 back annually for wireless telephone services

Business Platinum cardholders earn 5X points on qualifying scheduled flights booked online or in the Amex Travel app, prepaid hotels through Amex Travel and prepaid short-term Airbnb stays through Amex Travel with a linked Airbnb account; 2X points on eligible U.S. business categories or individual eligible purchases of at least $5,000, sharing a $2 million calendar-year ceiling, then 1X. Only the highest eligible rate applies. The calculator uses 1X for these purchases because it cannot verify individual transaction amounts, merchant eligibility or prior cap usage; and 1X points on other eligible purchases. Qualified Amex Travel inputs start at $0; do not count the same spending in another category. Credits remain unselected until you choose the benefits you can use.

With a flexible spending limit that adapts based on your purchase, payment and credit history, The Business Platinum Card® is designed to support your growing business needs.

American Express ZO Membership from Tishman Speyer is available to the U.S. Basic Business Platinum Card Member: complimentary ZO Clubhouse/Lounge access subject to availability, up to 4 guest day passes per Monday–Friday week and 4 Studio desk day passes per month. Up to $500 in statement credits per account per calendar year applies only to eligible U.S. ZO/Studio event-space bookings and/or Dining Club membership. Registration, reservation and entry requirements apply; unused guest passes do not roll over. Employee Cards on a Business Platinum account do not receive their own ZO access or a separate $500 credit.

U.S. and U.S.-territory purchases must have OpenAI or Squarespace as merchant of record. Each credit is shared across Basic and Employee Cards; subscriptions may auto-renew. These credits do not make ChatGPT Business, ChatGPT Plus or the API free. The calculator leaves credits unselected and qualified spending at $0 until you enter it; do not enter the same purchase twice.

Terms checked October 26, 2026. Enrollment applies to the credits specified in Amex terms. The 4X categories are selected automatically; this is not a category-activation requirement. The calculator normalizes the annual cap using constant monthly spending and does not infer spending already posted earlier in the calendar year.

After $150,000 in purchases in a calendar year, eligible remaining purchases earn 1.5 miles per dollar for the rest of that year; only the higher accelerator applies when a category qualifies for more. Pros

  • Welcome bonus of 100,000 points

Cons

  • Fewer premium perks

The Chase Ink Business Preferred can suit a business whose spending is concentrated in travel, eligible shipping purchases, search-engine and social-media advertising, and eligible internet, cable and phone services. It earns 3 points per dollar on the first $150,000 in combined eligible category purchases each account anniversary year, then 1 point per dollar. The cap applies to spending, not to 150,000 points: $150,000 of qualifying purchases at 3 points per dollar earns 450,000 points.

The verified public offer is 100,000 points after $8,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. The annual fee is $95. The spending requirement should be achievable without unnecessary purchases or an interest-bearing balance; a large bonus does not automatically offset borrowing costs.

Chase Travel’s standard redemption rate is 1 cent per point. The value and availability of Points Boost offers vary by card and booking; check the value displayed for your account. Partner transfers are generally 1:1, with an important current exception: World of Hyatt transfers are 4:3 from October 1, 2026. Confirm the price and availability before transferring.

Pros

  • Welcome bonus of 100,000 miles
  • 2x on groceries
  • 2x at restaurants

Cons

  • Fewer premium perks

The Capital One Venture Business card earns 2 miles per dollar on business purchases for a $95 annual fee. Hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Business Travel earn 5 miles per dollar.

The current 100,000-mile offer requires $10,000 in purchases in the first three months. That threshold is best assessed against spending the business already plans to make. Compared with the no-annual-fee VentureOne Business, the higher base earning rate needs to generate enough value to justify the annual cost.

There are no foreign transaction fees. The variable purchase APR of 24.74% can still outweigh the rewards if the business carries an interest-bearing balance. Travel booked directly also does not receive the portal’s 5-mile rate.

Our Methodology

Cards closed to new applicants and code-only offers whose terms cannot be verified are excluded. Only cards matching a category can be curated or sponsored on its page. A configured editorial selection replaces the calculated list. Otherwise, category cards are ordered by monthly selection, then first-year welcome-bonus cash value, then lower annual fees. Unknown values follow known values. Sponsored, exclusive, and featured placements then move first, in that order, with labels identifying them. Position is therefore not a universal quality score. FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1Which card should I choose from this table?

Start with your spending and eligibility. Read each card’s reason and trade-off, then compare its fees and terms. First position does not guarantee the best fit for your situation.

2How is the order determined?

Cards closed to new applicants and code-only offers whose terms cannot be verified are excluded. Only cards matching a category can be curated or sponsored on its page. A configured editorial selection replaces the calculated list. Otherwise, category cards are ordered by monthly selection, then first-year welcome-bonus cash value, then lower annual fees. Unknown values follow known values. Sponsored, exclusive, and featured placements then move first, in that order, with labels identifying them. Position is therefore not a universal quality score. The hub shows the first 5 cards from each list. Interest, eligibility, and your own use can change which card suits you.

3Are business cards suitable for everyone?

No. They require eligible business activity and may carry a personal guarantee. A large welcome offer does not make a business card suitable for personal spending.

4Where should I verify offers and benefits?

The table and card details read the site’s catalogue. Also check current issuer terms before applying: welcome offers, required spending, and lounge-access rules can change.

5Does a no-fee card guarantee savings?

No. Interest and other charges can outweigh rewards. Compare the full cost and, when possible, pay your statement balance in full.
