Accor Live Limitless (ALL) is the loyalty program behind Accor, a French hospitality company that runs Ibis, Fairmont, Raffles, Swissôtel, and other popular hotel brands. The brand comprises 45 unique brands, spanning over 5,500 properties across more than 110 countries.
You won’t find the same value in Accor Live Limitless as in other popular hotel loyalty programs like World of Hyatt or Marriott Bonvoy. This is mainly because it operates a revenue-based loyalty program, where you redeem points for a fixed discount on your hotel bill versus points that can be redeemed for hotel stays at varying values.
But there’s still much value to be found in ALL. Here’s a look at everything you need to know, including Accor’s roster of brands, elite status tiers, and earning and redeeming points.
Accor Live Limitless launched at the end of 2019, when it rebranded and made sweeping changes to its former Le Club loyalty program. Members can earn Accor points whenever they stay at Accor properties (and book directly) and leverage its partnerships with other travel companies, shops, and restaurants.
ALL members can redeem rewards for discounts on Accor stays, event tickets, or transfers to partner airline loyalty programs. Accor Live Limitless has four elite status tiers that let members earn more points on stays, room upgrades, lounge access, and more.
You can redeem points at a set rate of 1,000 points to 20€ — approximately $20.46, at the time of writing — off of the cost of your stay. You can redeem points to pay for all or part of your stay.
Accor has a staggering 45 unique brands ranging from budget-friendly Ibis to high-end brands like Delano, Raffles, and Fairmont. Over 5,500 properties span more than 110 countries, including properties in most major American cities.
Accor brands include:
You earn Accor elite status as you spend more nights at Accor properties. Each tier has varying benefits, with upper tiers earning access to hotel lounges, complimentary breakfast, and other perks.
Some key facts to know about Accor ALL elite status include:
Each Accor elite tier offers varying benefits, with higher tiers giving room upgrades and lounge access. Here’s a quick overview of each elite tier and its standout benefits.
Accor is based in France, so many of its earning opportunities are exclusive to Europe. Thankfully, there are still many easy ways to earn Accor points in the U.S. and elsewhere. Here’s a look at your best options.
When you book Accor hotel stays directly and add your membership number, you’ll earn points on all of your stays. You earn points based on the cost of the stay, the brand you’re staying with and your current Accor elite status tier.
Here’s how many points you’ll earn per brand before any elite bonuses:
Note that long-stay brands include Orient Express Serviced Residences, Fairmont Serviced Residences, SO/ Serviced Residences, Sofitel Serviced Residences, MGallery Living, Mondrian Living, Pullman Living, Swissôtel Living, Hyde Living, Mövenpick Living, Mercure Living, and Novotel Living.
Accor has a calculator in the middle of this webpage that you can use to calculate your earnings on paid stays. Just input your status tier, the brand you’re planning a stay with, your pre-tax hotel rate, and currency to view your nightly earnings.
You can transfer points from select transferable points programs to Accor Live Limitless.
Bilt Rewards, Capital One, and Citi ThankYou points all transfer to Accor at a 1:0.5 transfer ratio. This means that transferring 10,000 points from these programs would give you 5,000 Accor points.
You can also transfer Air France-KLM Flying Blue miles to Accor points, but it’s rarely a good idea. These transfers process at a 4:1 transfer ratio, meaning 10,000 Flying Blue miles are worth just 2,500 Accor points. In most cases, you’ll get more value by saving your Flying Blue miles for award flights.
Other airline miles can be transferred to Accor at similar (or worse) points.
Europcar, Hertz and Sixt partner with Accor and let members earn Accor points on eligible bookings. Here’s a breakdown of how many Accor points you’ll earn with each of these partners:
You can earn Accor points when you take surveys with Club Options and E-Rewards. The number of points you’ll earn varies per survey. You’re unlikely to earn a ton of miles with these programs, but they can be a worthwhile way to keep your Accor points from expiring.
Accor has partnerships with three airlines: Azul, Air France-KLM, Qatar Airways and Qantas. Each of these gives members the chance to double-dip their earnings and provides other benefits. However, its partnerships with Azul, Qatar Airways and Qantas require elite status or other flight requirements to be eligible.
This isn’t the case for Air France-KLM, however. Anyone with an Air France-KLM Flying Blue and Accor ALL Live Limitless account can link their accounts and double-dip points on Accor stays and Air France or KLM flights.
Specifically, members will earn 1 Flying Blue mile per euro spent on Accor hotel bookings in addition to the Accor points they earn. Plus, members will earn 1 Accor point for every 2 euros spent on Air France or KLM flight bookings, in addition to Flying Blue miles.
Enrolling in this partnership is worth it even if you don’t have an Accor stay or an Air France-KLM flight booked. Both loyalty programs are free to join, and linking your accounts means you’ll never miss out on bonus points.
Accor and Flying Blue even offer a welcome bonus for linking your accounts. You’ll earn a bonus elite night toward Accor status and 5 XP toward Flying Blue status after completing your first Accor stay or Air France-KLM flight booking after enrollment. You can earn this bonus once for hotel stays and once for flights, for a total of two elite nights and 10 XP.
Accor points work differently from other popular hotel points. When redeemed for hotel stays, each point is worth a fixed value toward the cash cost of a stay. This makes it nearly impossible to get outsized value from your points, but it does give you predictable value.
Redeeming Accor points for hotel stays is simple. You can redeem points in multiples of 2,000, with each multiple being worth €40 toward your final bill. You can use points to cover an entire or part of a paid stay, though there is a 1,000,000-point redemption limit per stay.
You must have at least 1,000 points in your account to make a redemption. You can also choose how many points you’d like to use toward a reservation. So, if you have 4,700 points in your account, you can redeem 1,000, 2,000, or 4,000 points toward your next stay.
You can redeem Accor points for any hotel stay at an Accor hotel. Just search for a hotel stay as usual and toggle the “Earn and use your points” button on the left-hand side of the search results page. You can then apply your points by following the on-screen prompts to book your hotel stay.
Another way for U.S.-based travelers to redeem Accor points is to transfer them to Accor’s airline partners. However, due to low transfer rates, this significantly lowers the value of the points in most cases.
Accor partners with 29 airlines — here are some popular examples:
The only airline that might make sense to transfer to is Air France-KLM Flying Blue, as these points transfer 1:1. However, ensure you’re able to get more than 2 cents per point from Flying Blue miles before transferring, as this is the value you redeem Accor points towards hotel stays.
Yes, Accor points expire after 365 days of inactivity. Make sure to earn and redeem points — even if it’s a small amount — at least once per year to keep your Accor points active.
Here, you learned the ins and outs of Accor ALL Live Limitless. It’s a straightforward loyalty program with relatively limited elite benefits and points pegged to a cash value. However, it’s still a program worth knowing as Accor has a vast footprint worldwide, especially in Europe.
